Atal Tinkering Lab is a platform where young minds can give shape to their ides through hands on experience and do-it –yourself mode and learn innovation skills.

The objective of this laboratory is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds. Through this laboratory young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipments to understand the concept of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). ATL would contain educational and learning do it yourself kits and equipments on science, electronic, robotics, open source microcontroller bords, sensors, 3D printers and computers . In order to foster innovation among students, ATL can conduct different activities ranging from regional and national level competitions, exhibitions , workshops on problem-solving designing and fabrication of products at periodic intervals

Atal Tinkering Lab of IIMT Academy has received a number of credentials. Our school has secured III position in All India Cyber Safety Hackthon organized by UNICEF. IIT Patna has also declared IIMT Academy the Best School using Technology.

Bus Surveillance System

Child security is now one of the most important things parents think on about their children, many parents even drop their children to school by themselves because they do not trust the buses. This solution for this problem was the installing cameras in buses but the commercial cameras are too expensive.

It was, therefore, decided to make our own bus surveillance camera it has comparatively low building cost and has low maintenance fees.

Bus Surveillance System that was developed by the students of IIMT Academy under the aegis of ATL labs uploads all the videos onto a cloud server from which only the parents who have their g-mails id’s registered will be able to access it.

CNC Writing Machine

IIMT Academy students have developed a model CNC machine which aims at reducing in human efforts and avoid the errors and so as to get a perfect output. It may be used for designing of complex structures/stencils.

It is very robust and easy to operate. The handicraft and arts sector have to develop and come up with a variety of design which require a huge human efforts and time. By using our CNC machine, better quality stencils can be made in less amount of time.

This model can be scaled up and used for drawing modern art on the wall.
